A name from my brother

When I was born, my brother started calling me Blancalita, short for Blanca linda. The name stuck, and it has stayed with me ever since.

So when it came time to name the things I make, there was no other choice. Blancalita Home is me: my love of beautiful homes, of decorating, and of the little details that make a room feel like yours.

Why color

I believe everyone is happier when the day is bright, and the same goes for a home. The brighter and more colorful, the better. A stack of cheerful napkins on the table, a bold oven mitt by the stove, a little bag that makes you smile every time you reach for it. Small things, big joy.

How I make it

Every piece is cut and sewn by hand from vibrant, 100% cotton fabrics I choose one bolt at a time. You get to pick the print for almost everything I make, straight from my fabric library, so each order is made just for you.

Once or twice a month I also release a one-of-a-kind upholstered piece, like an ottoman, a chair, or a headboard, in a fabric I choose as a surprise. You can find those under Furniture Drops.
